Students are encouraged to present during the AURCO Lunch Speaker Series. Consider presenting 2-3 short talks or posters with your friends during an hour-long session.

Information
- Competitive paper presentations can be related to any discipline.
- There are no restrictions on topic or length.
- The papers should incorporate primary or secondary research and demonstrate good writing and documentation style to be competitive.
- Papers will be judged before the conference, and students will be asked to give a 5-minute presentation of their paper on the conference day (and answer questions if time permits).
- The use of PowerPoint or other presentation aids is optional.
- The winners will receive a book scholarship.

Guidelines and Scoring
- Students will be asked to provide a 5-minute presentation summarizing their paper. Following the presentation, students should be prepared to answer questions from the judges and the audience for an additional 5 minutes.
- The papers and presentations will be judged on the quality of the paper, the presentation, and the research.

- Competitive poster presentations can be related to any discipline.
- Team presentations are welcome.
- All posters will be presented simultaneously, typically before lunch on the conference day.
- Students will be asked to display their posters and discuss their work with attendees and judges.
- The winners will receive a book scholarship.
- Submit a title and a 250-word description of the poster using the abstract submission form.
- Although there is no cost to attend the conference for student presenters, all attendees must register to ensure an accurate count for food and materials.
Guidelines and Scoring
- Posters should be no larger than 36x48 inches.
- Students will be asked to provide a 5-minute (or less) poster presentation that summarizes their research. Following the presentation, students should be prepared to answer questions from the judges.
- The posters will be judged on the quality of the poster, the presentation, and the research.
- Students are welcome to bring additional props, handouts, or electronic media to help demonstrate or explain their topic to visitors. These materials will not be considered for the poster judging.
